Hi, I’m Erin!
I love connecting with people both in their happiest times and in times of suffering. As someone who is a self proclaimed “recovering perfectionist” I love helping people through understanding when good is enough, and how to help disconnect our identities from our achievements.
I have had the privilege of working with people from different walks of life throughout my career, facing a wide array of unique challenges. I was able to provide counseling in both a private and nonprofit setting while living in various states, which has taught me to be present, that pain is a universal feeling, and at the end of the day, a little humor about this wild world is a language we all understand.
How our work looks together
Simply put: this is your time and not mine. I want to know how the process is going for you and am open to feedback. I understand that sometimes traditional therapy approaches feel overwhelming or misaligned so I like to focus on organically fostering a relationship that is right for you. Whether you're someone who thrives with structure or needs flexibility, we'll tailor our sessions to fit your unique rhythm and needs
I draw from evidence-based approaches like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness—but most importantly, our work is shaped around your needs!
If you’ve been holding yourself to impossible standards or constantly trying to prove you're enough, this is a space to slow down and unlearn the pressure.
I like to bring in a permission to be imperfect sort of feel, remaining curious, and giving you hopefully useful tools along the way. I’m not here to fix you, because you’re not broken!
